Car making

For Technology we have been making cars powered by a blown up balloon. You had to make it carefully when making the wheels otherwise they won't move. You had to be careful when using the car because the balloon might scrape on the ground and will pop. In this case you should put a wooden (flat) stick along the front of the car for the balloon to sit on.

for film festival this year our topic was Our Place.

Reading

For reading we are reading The Miraculous Journey of Edward Tulane.
The book is about a bunny that drowns in the sea and then ends up in a dump.

awesome chip baking

chips just out of the oven

putting salt onto the oiled chips

This week we made some oven chips

Ingredients:
2 potatoes
pinch of salt
1 tablespoon of olive oil

First we cut up our potato into slices
Then we put olive oil and salt onto it
We baked them at 220 degrees ceaseless for 8 - 12 minutes
Finally we took them out of the oven and let them cool for 2 minutes
